ShapeScale, made by Shape Labs Inc., is a 3D body scanning scale that captures photorealistic full-body scans to give users a visual record of their body composition and fitness progress over time. Using infrared depth sensors and a high-resolution camera, ShapeScale creates accurate 3D avatars that allow users to see localized fat loss and muscle gain through before-and-after heatmap comparisons. The device pairs with a mobile app that provides health and body scores to help users identify which areas to target.
