Sensorly

Sensorly was a crowdsourced wireless network coverage mapping platform founded in 2010 in Paris, France, that allowed users to contribute real-world mobile signal data to build unbiased, independent coverage maps for carriers worldwide. The platform operated for approximately nine years, providing consumers and businesses with ground-truth coverage data that complemented or contradicted carrier-published maps. In February 2016, Sensorly was acquired by Mosaik. After the acquisition and subsequent years of operation, the Sensorly team ultimately decided to shut down the service, taking all applications and maps offline.
