Sendy was a technology-driven logistics and fulfillment platform founded in 2015 in Nairobi, Kenya. The company connected businesses — from small retailers to large e-commerce brands — with a network of thousands of independent transporters ranging from motorcycles to 28-ton trucks, enabling on-demand delivery, warehousing, and end-to-end supply chain management across East and West Africa. Operating in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, South Sudan, DRC, and Côte d'Ivoire, Sendy offered transparent pricing, real-time tracking, and streamlined payments. The company ceased operations in late 2023 after raising $29.2M across four rounds including a $20M Series B in 2020.
