Semnur Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the clinical and commercial development of innovative products that meet the needs of pain management practitioners and their patients. Its lead program, SP-102 (SEMDEXA), is a non-opioid injectable corticosteroid gel for patients with moderate to severe chronic radicular pain and sciatica, containing no preservatives, surfactants, solvents, or particulates. If approved by the FDA, SP-102 will be available in a pre-filled syringe and administered as an epidural injection. In the United States, Semnur plans to develop and commercialize candidates through its own efforts or with partners, and outside the United States through regional partnerships, with a primary focus on non-opioid treatments for underserved patients with back pain.
