SCINTIL Photonics is a fabless semiconductor company founded in 2018 in Grenoble, France, developing and commercializing laser-integrated silicon photonics for AI datacenters. Spun out of CEA-Leti, SCINTIL's proprietary SHIP™ (Scintil Heterogeneous Integrated Photonics) technology combines silicon and indium phosphide photonics through a unique die-to-wafer bonding process, enabling mass production via commercial semiconductor foundries. The company's flagship product, LEAF Light™, is the world's first single-chip DWDM-native laser source, delivering dense multi-wavelength optical connectivity at speeds beyond 1 terabit per second per fiber with half the power and one-tenth the latency of competing solutions. SCINTIL is headquartered in Grenoble with operations in North America, and has raised over €50 million in Series B funding backed by investors including NVIDIA and NGP Capital.
