Roojai is a full-stack digital insurance company founded in 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand by Nicolas Faquet. Originally launched as an online insurance brokerage, Roojai became a licensed insurer after acquiring FWD General Insurance in 2023, rebranding as Roojai Insurance PCL. The company offers motor and health insurance products designed for a fully digital customer journey — from quoting to claims — targeting underserved consumers in Southeast Asia. Roojai expanded to Indonesia in 2022 and also owns MrKumka (Thailand) and Lifepal (Indonesia), two online insurance comparison brokers. As of 2024 the company serves over 250,000 annual customers and has 500+ employees across Thailand.
