Revivant

Revivant Corporation was a medical device company based in Sunnyvale, California that developed and manufactured the AutoPulse, a patented automated CPR resuscitation device that mechanically performs chest compressions during cardiac arrest. Founded in 1997, its technology was studied in peer-reviewed clinical research (JACC, Resuscitation) and deployed in emergency medical services systems internationally, including Bonn, Germany. In September 2004, Revivant was acquired by ZOLL Medical Corporation and became a ZOLL subsidiary, retaining its manufacturing and R&D functions in Sunnyvale.
