Restorando

Restorando was the leading online restaurant reservation platform in Latin America, founded in 2011 in Buenos Aires, Argentina by Andy Freire and Santiago Bilinkis. The platform allowed diners to discover and book tables at restaurants across seven Latin American countries including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Uruguay, using filters for cuisine type, location, and price range. Restorando worked with over 5,000 restaurants and seated more than 20 million diners throughout its operating history. The company offered restaurant partners tools to manage reservations, reduce no-shows, and grow their customer base through the Diner Marketplace model. Restorando also partnered with TripAdvisor in 2017 to facilitate reservations directly on TripAdvisor's platform in Latin America. In 2019, the company was acquired by TheFork, a TripAdvisor subsidiary, which integrated Restorando's platform and restaurant network to expand its presence in the LATAM region.
