Reka

Reka is a global AI research and product company headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, building natively multimodal models and infrastructure for the physical AI era. Founded in 2022 by researchers from DeepMind, Google Brain, Baidu, and Meta, Reka develops complete multimodal AI solutions that understand and process video, image, audio, and text together. The company's product portfolio includes Reka Edge, Flash, and Core model tiers, an inference engine and API (Infer), scalable video processing infrastructure for tagging, reasoning, and searching large video datasets, and Claru, a data infrastructure platform for training frontier AI models. Reka's models are used by enterprises in security, media, and defense verticals. In July 2025 the company raised $110 million and achieved unicorn status with backing from NVIDIA and Snowflake.
