ReData

re_data (also marketed as ReData) is an open-source data reliability and observability framework built on top of dbt (data build tool). Founded around January 2021 by Mateusz Klimek and Piotr Herstowski, the project helps data engineering teams monitor data quality across the modern data stack by generating quality metrics, detecting anomalies, running automated dbt tests, and sending alerts before bad data reaches dashboards or end users. It integrates directly into existing dbt projects and produces a reliability UI for visualizing pipeline health. The commercial getre.io site returned an SSL error as of August 2026, and public LinkedIn history shows its founding team had moved to other roles by mid-2024.
