RED Digital Cinema is a leading manufacturer of professional digital cameras and accessories, founded in 2005 and headquartered in Foothill Ranch, California. In 2006, RED began a revolution with the 4K RED ONE digital cinema camera, and has since developed the DSMC system enabling the same cameras to be used across features, television, commercials, and editorial work. RED cameras have been used on award-winning productions including Mank, Squid Game, The Queen's Gambit, and Navalny. RED was acquired by Nikon in April 2024.
