Recurate was a B2B resale technology company that provided brands and retailers with an embedded peer-to-peer resale platform, enabling shoppers to buy and sell secondhand items directly on brand websites and in-store. Founded in 2020 by Adam Siegel and Wilson Griffin, the company helped fashion and consumer brands capture secondhand revenue as a circular economy solution, raising $17.3M in venture funding. In August 2024, Recurate was acquired by Trove, creating a combined entity controlling up to 80% of branded resale traffic in the US.
