Rebecca Allen Inc. is a New York-based, Black-owned and women-owned footwear and lifestyle brand founded in 2018 by Rebecca Allen, a former finance professional who left banking to create inclusive, sophisticated shoe styles for women of all skin tones. The brand launched with a signature 'nude' patent leather pump collection offered in five inclusive shades — making women of color the primary customer, not an afterthought — and subsequently expanded into additional footwear styles and a Fit Expert community ambassador program that enables women to earn supplemental income by representing the brand. Rebecca Allen footwear launched in Nordstrom and was acquired in September 2024. The brand is headquartered in New York, NY, and serves customers directly through its e-commerce platform as well as select retail partnerships.
