REAL MESA is a Mediterranean-inspired pet food brand co-founded by chef Jose Andres, launched in late 2023. Recipes for the dry dog food, treats and toppers are curated by Andres and inspired by traditional Mediterranean human-food philosophy, with a portion of proceeds from every meal donated to World Central Kitchen. The brand has expanded rapidly since launch, entering nearly 1,000 retail stores within its first year and winning Puppy Food Product of the Year at the 2025 Pet Innovation Awards. Products are sold through major retailers including Chewy, Amazon, Walmart, Tractor Supply and Blain's Farm & Fleet.
