Raypai Photonic Crystal was founded in 2012 and was one of the first companies in China to begin research and development of optical waveguide technology. The company focuses on optical waveguide display technology and is one of the few domestic firms with an intellectual-property portfolio covering geometric optical waveguide modules, holding as many as 18 granted invention patents in the field. Its self-developed optical modules are lightweight and compact, and are used across consumer entertainment, security, industrial, education, and medical applications.
