Quora

Quora is an American question-and-answer platform founded in 2009 by Adam D'Angelo and Charlie Cheever, former Facebook employees. The platform enables users to ask questions, share expertise, and discover knowledge across virtually every topic. In 2022, Quora launched Poe, an AI chatbot aggregator platform that provides access to multiple large language models including GPT-4 and Claude. Quora is primarily written in Python and C++, and operates out of Mountain View, California. With over 400 million monthly unique visitors at its peak, it remains one of the world's largest knowledge-sharing communities and has evolved into a dual-product company spanning traditional Q&A and frontier AI tooling.
