Project N95

Project N95 was a national nonprofit organization founded in 2020 to address critical shortages of personal protective equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic. Operating as a trusted clearinghouse, it vetted supply chains, maintained a testing laboratory, and sold or donated masks, COVID tests, and other PPE to frontline healthcare workers, community organizations, and individuals in need. Over its lifetime, Project N95 delivered more than 37 million items through its nonprofit marketplace and donated over 5 million pieces of PPE to underserved communities. The organization wound down its store and distribution operations at the end of 2023.
