Prisma Photonics develops fiber-optic sensing technology for monitoring critical infrastructure including power grids, oil and gas pipelines, railways, and other large-scale assets. The company's Hyper-Scan Fiber Sensing technology combines distributed acoustic sensing with machine learning to deliver real-time, span-by-span monitoring across hundreds of miles of infrastructure using existing optical fiber — without additional hardware on lines or towers. Key products include PrismaPower for Dynamic Line Rating (DLR) of electrical transmission lines, enabling utilities to safely unlock additional grid capacity by monitoring actual conductor thermal conditions.
