Plentiful is a nonprofit technology platform built to strengthen the connection between neighbors in need and the charitable food providers who serve them. Founded in 2015 and launched in NYC in 2016 in partnership with City Harvest, United Way of New York City, and the Mayor's Office of Food Policy, Plentiful created an OpenTable-like reservation system for food pantries that eliminated long lines and brought dignity to the food access experience. The platform captured 3.3 million pantry visits in 2024 alone and has served 5.7 million neighbors at 800+ providers across 10+ states. Acquired by HelpKitchen in 2023, Plentiful continues expanding nationally.
