Pinnacle West Capital

Pinnacle West Capital Corporation is a publicly traded utility holding company headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, and the parent of Arizona Public Service Company (APS), the largest electric utility in Arizona. Founded in 1985 as a reorganization of Arizona Public Service, Pinnacle West serves approximately two-thirds of the Phoenix metropolitan area and communities across Arizona including Flagstaff, Prescott, Yuma, and Douglas. The company generates and distributes electricity through a diverse mix of nuclear, natural gas, solar, and legacy coal assets, including partial ownership of the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station.
