Picable, Inc. is a Japanese content studio founded in August 2019 by CEO Takayuki Kojima, who conceived the concept while a graduate student at Keio University. Originally developed within SoftBank Group's SB InnoVenture incubator, the company was acquired by Kojima as an independent entity in 2019. The company initially built the 'Picable' co-viewing mobile app that let users watch videos and browse websites together in real time, targeting youth audiences, with a partnership with Fuji TV (FOD) by April 2020. Picable has since pivoted to operate as 'Picable Studio,' specializing in planning and producing short-form animated IP content and 'kawaii' character IPs for global audiences. Its current services include 'Fan Voice Translation,' an AI dubbing tool that translates voice content (for voice actors and VTubers) into multiple languages while preserving original voice characteristics, and 'Prompt Space,' a marketplace for AI prompt trading. Investors include Fuji Startup Ventures, Skyland Ventures, CyberAgent, and Z Venture Capital. Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
