Pioneering the future of human capability
Phantom Neuro is a neurotechnology company spun out of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine that is developing the world's first minimally invasive muscle-machine interface for controlling robotic prosthetic limbs, exoskeletons, and AR/VR systems. The company's Phantom X platform uses wearable neural sensors to decode phantom limb signals from amputees with 94% gesture accuracy and sub-200ms latency across 11 hand and wrist movements, enabling natural and intuitive control of robotic devices. Founded in 2020 by Connor Glass, M.D., Phantom Neuro secured a $19M Series A led by Ottobock in 2025 and is conducting clinical trials (ASCENT study) to bring its technology from research to everyday clinical use.
