PermiGuide partners with cities to add an AI-powered zoning assistant to the municipal website so residents can check what their parcel allows before they apply for a permit. The product interprets Municode rules together with parcel-level GIS data to answer questions such as whether an ADU is allowed, whether a home addition needs a permit, and what a given lot can support, in plain language rather than legal code. Cities use it to cut staff intake errors, reduce abandoned or noncompliant applications, and recover permitting revenue lost when projects stall in confusion.
