Perikinetics is developing an artificial pancreas technology platform for physiological insulin delivery. Its lead product is the PK Insulin Delivery Conduit (IDC), an implantable port-catheter system accessed by a proprietary external infusion set for intraperitoneal (IP) insulin delivery. IP delivery better mimics physiological insulin secretion by increasing portal insulin concentrations, enabling more effective glycemic control and reducing hypoglycemic episodes for Type 1 diabetes patients.
