Pearl Abyss

Pearl Abyss is a South Korean video game developer and publisher founded in September 2010 by Kim Daeil and Youn Jaemin. The company is best known for creating Black Desert Online, a critically acclaimed cross-platform MMORPG that has attracted over 30 million players across PC, console, and mobile platforms. Pearl Abyss also developed Black Desert Mobile and is currently working on the highly anticipated open-world action-adventure game Crimson Desert and other major titles, establishing itself as one of Korea's leading self-publishing game studios. In 2018, the company acquired CCP Games, the developer of EVE Online, for approximately $425 million.
