Pathwire

Pathwire was a transactional email and communications API platform launched in January 2021 as the parent brand unifying Mailgun and Mailjet. Headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, Pathwire positioned itself as a reliable path between businesses and their customers, offering scalable email delivery infrastructure, developer-friendly APIs, and email campaign tools. The company was backed by Thoma Bravo and had previously been part of Rackspace and Y Combinator. In September 2021, Pathwire was acquired by Swedish communications company Sinch for approximately $1.9 billion. Its products continue under the Sinch brand (Sinch Mailgun, Sinch InboxReady).
