Papa is a comprehensive in-home companion care platform that connects health plans and employers with a nationwide network of highly vetted companions called Papa Pals. The platform addresses social determinants of health by providing older adults, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid members, and other underserved populations with personalized support including companionship, transportation, errands, and help with daily tasks. Founded in 2017 in Miami by Andrew Parker, Papa has completed over 3 million visits across 10,000+ cities and has been shown to improve member engagement, reduce hospitalizations, and lower healthcare costs for its health plan partners.
