Orvium

Orvium is an open-source scientific publishing platform that enables researchers, academic institutions, journals, and conferences to manage the full lifecycle of scholarly publications. Originally built on blockchain technology to provide transparent, decentralized peer review and manuscript management, Orvium now offers both a cloud-managed SaaS solution and a self-hosted open-source deployment. The platform supports journal management, conference paper submissions, preprint servers, and open access publishing workflows. It integrates with tools such as iThenticate, ORCID, Stripe, Overleaf, FigShare, and DataCite. Orvium is used by universities, medical schools, and research conferences globally, and was incorporated as Orvium OÜ in Tallinn, Estonia.
