Orbital Lasers Co., Ltd. (株式会社Orbital Lasers) is a Tokyo-based space technology company pioneering high-power laser solutions for a secure and sustainable orbital environment. Founded in January 2024, the company has developed the world's most powerful and efficient compact space laser, delivering 10x the peak power of conventional space lasers at a fraction of the size and cost. Its core products address two markets: Active Debris Removal (ADR) using non-contact laser-based detumbling to reduce the complexity and cost of clearing orbital debris, and Satellite LiDAR Services providing high-resolution global measurements for disaster prevention, infrastructure optimization, and environmental monitoring. The company has grown from 30 to 60+ team members within two years, raised ¥3.02 billion in Series A funding in March 2026, and is backed by UTokyo IPC. It participates in Japan's J-Startup program and has global partnerships across Japan, India, and Europe.
