OMEGA (omega.xyz) is a DeFi protocol and Web3 infrastructure provider founded in 2023 by Wes Cowan, headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The protocol enables users to maximize yield in decentralized finance by using a variety of digital assets—including native Bitcoin—as collateral to access up to 6x leverage for yield farming across the Mantle ecosystem. OMEGA raised $6 million in funding in early 2024 to expand its cross-chain Bitcoin collateralization infrastructure, which allows Bitcoin holders to participate in DeFi across Web3 protocols without wrapping or bridging.
