Offen Fair Web Analytics is an open-source, self-hosted web analytics tool built on the principle of radical transparency and user consent. Unlike conventional analytics platforms, Offen gives website visitors full access to their own usage data through an Auditorium interface, and requires explicit opt-in before any data is collected. The platform collects only essential metrics — pageviews, unique users, sessions, top pages, referrers, UTM parameters, landing and exit pages, and weekly retention — while storing all data locally on the operator's own server. Usage data is automatically deleted after six months. Offen supports multiple websites within a single installation and can be shared across teams. It is available in English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, and Vietnamese. The tool is designed for developers, agencies, and privacy-conscious organizations that want actionable website insights without compromising visitor privacy or violating data protection regulations like GDPR.
