Ocius Technologies LLC

Ocius Technologies is an Akron, Ohio-based R&D company developing Advanced Speed Analog Processor (ASAP) Chips — compact 4mm x 4mm analog computing chips designed to rapidly solve computationally intensive engineering and physics problems. In partnership with Case Western Reserve University, Ocius received a $1.5 million DARPA Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Phase II award to explore how RF/mm-wave analog computers can accelerate solutions to partial differential equations in electromagnetics, magnetohydrodynamics, and fluid mechanics. The technology targets applications in UAVs, satellites, remote sensing, and autonomous vehicles, with claims of up to 420x speed improvements over conventional GPU-based computing at a fraction of the power draw.
