Founded in 2016 in Copenhagen, Denmark, Nordetect is a deep tech startup built by Indian scientist-entrepreneurs Keenan Pinto and Palak Sehgal. The company combines lab-on-a-chip and computer vision to build portable biochemical analysis systems for the AgriFood industry. Nordetect enables farmers, agronomists, and indoor growers to optimize water and nutrient chemistry in real time, reducing reliance on slow and expensive lab testing. The company raised a $1.5M seed round in 2021 with support from Rockstart and government investment firms.
