No Isolation is a Norwegian technology company that develops the AV1 telepresence robot to reduce involuntary social isolation among children who cannot attend school due to long-term illness or other conditions. The AV1 robot sits in the classroom and gives absent children a live audio-visual presence, allowing them to follow lessons, participate in discussions, and maintain social bonds with peers through a companion mobile app. Over 4,000 AV1 units are deployed across 2,500+ schools in 19 countries throughout Europe, having supported more than 15,000 children and facilitated over 100,000 lessons attended. The company works with local authorities, multi-academy trusts, hospitals, charities, and government organisations.
