Neya Systems is a recognized leader in advanced off-road autonomy and multi-robot mission planning, developing innovative software solutions for uncrewed ground, aerial, and marine platforms operating in complex, outdoor environments. Founded in October 2009 by robotics entrepreneur Dr. Parag Batavia, Neya delivers capabilities across perception, navigation, mission planning, simulation, and cybersecurity for autonomous ground vehicles. Its customers are primarily U.S. defense organizations — including the Army, DARPA, and the Defense Innovation Unit — for whom Neya builds autonomy modules that protect soldiers on the front lines. Neya was acquired by Applied Research Associates (ARA) in April 2017.
