NEWLOCAL is a Tokyo-based urban revitalization startup focused on real estate development and community building aimed at creating sustainable regional models in Japan. NEWLOCAL partners with local stakeholders across regions including Nozawa Onsen (Nagano), Oga (Akita), Kyoto Tango, Komatsu (Ishikawa), and Marugame (Kagawa) to develop hospitality facilities, renovate idle properties, and attract people, ideas, and capital to revitalize local areas. The company establishes joint ventures in each region with local partners and targets expansion to 10 regions by 2027.
