Founded in 2003 by Dr. Ye Xiuzi, former Chief Scientist of Dassault SolidWorks and a Yangtze River Scholar recognized by China's Ministry of Education, 新迪数字 (Newdim) is China's leading domestic industrial software company specializing in 3D CAD core technology. Headquartered in Shanghai's Minhang District, the company has invested over two decades in developing independent, internationally competitive 3D design and engineering software. Its flagship product, Tianggong CAD, is a fully self-developed 3D CAD platform designed to replace foreign software in China's manufacturing sector. The product portfolio also includes Tiangong Cloud CAD (cloud-native collaborative design), 3D Lightweight Engine (browser-based model viewing without plugins), Drawings Connect (SaaS drawing-sharing and markup tool), and Parts Library (cloud-based 3D component library).
