Neuro Devices, Inc. is a Minneapolis-based biomedical R&D company developing non-invasive diagnostic devices for peripheral neuropathy, a condition commonly caused by chemotherapy or diabetes. The company has developed two device platforms: a sweat-gland measurement device that detects subtle autonomic changes indicative of early peripheral neuropathy, and 'The Bumps,' a touch-sensation quantification device for the fingers. With multiple NIH SBIR/STTR awards including a Phase 2 NIH grant of $3.5M in 2020, Neuro Devices aims to enable earlier detection and treatment of peripheral neuropathy than is currently possible with standard clinical methods.
