Clientless SSL VPN — secure access without the client
Neoteris was a network security company that pioneered clientless SSL VPN technology, enabling secure remote access to enterprise applications from any standard web browser without requiring pre-installed client software. Founded in Sunnyvale, California, the company developed the Instant Virtual Extranet (IVE) platform, which allowed organizations to securely expose internal applications to remote workers, partners, and customers. Neoteris was acquired by Juniper Networks in 2003 for approximately $115 million, and its technology became the foundation of Juniper's SSL VPN product line.
