Nearpod

Nearpod is an interactive instructional delivery platform that enables educators to create and deliver engaging digital lessons with built-in formative assessments, virtual reality experiences, and real-time student feedback across mobile and desktop devices. Founded in 2012 by Guido Kovalskys, Felipe Sommer, and Emiliano Abramzon, the platform serves K-12 teachers and school districts with a library of ready-to-launch interactive lessons, virtual field trips, and assessment tools. Nearpod was recognized as EdTech Digest's Company of the Year in 2018 and was acquired by Renaissance Learning in 2021 for approximately $650 million.
