MorphoSys

MorphoSys AG was a German biopharmaceutical company founded in 1992 and headquartered in Planegg, Germany, near Munich. The company pioneered proprietary antibody discovery technologies — most notably its Human Combinatorial Antibody Library (HuCAL) — used by researchers worldwide to generate highly specific, fully human antibodies for therapeutic and diagnostic applications. MorphoSys focused on the discovery, development, and commercialization of innovative antibody-based therapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases. In February 2024, Novartis agreed to acquire MorphoSys for approximately 2.7 billion euros, with the merger completed and MorphoSys delisted from the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in mid-2024.
