MINUTES (株式会社ミニッツ, minutes, Inc.) operates Japan's first trading-card-focused live commerce platform. The app enables verified streamers to conduct live pack-opening broadcasts—primarily for Pokémon cards and all other trading card categories—while viewers can purchase items in real time, verify card condition visually before buying, and interact through comments and in-stream games. The platform differentiates through a vetting process for streamers (identity verification and interviews), creating a community-driven, safe marketplace for trading card collectors. The service launched in December 2021 following a 50 million yen funding round from investors including ANRI. The company was founded in October 2017 by Keiki Yamamoto (formerly a business lead at Fablic, acquired by Rakuten) and is headquartered at 1-13 Kanda Sakumacho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The highest single transaction on the platform reached approximately 439 million yen for a Charizard card.
