MFR

MFR (Multi-purpose Field Robotics / 다목적필드로보틱스) is a South Korean robotics startup founded out of DGIST (Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology) that develops autonomous robots for construction, agricultural, and shipbuilding field applications. The company's flagship products include a steel bolt-tightening robot — developed in partnership with Samsung C&T — which reduced per-bolt tightening time from 56 seconds to 13 seconds, and a heavy cargo transport robot. MFR has won multiple smart construction challenge awards and is recognized as one of Korea's top smart construction innovator companies.
