Metaplex

Metaplex Foundation is a non-profit organization that builds the open-source protocols, tools, and standards powering digital assets across the Solana ecosystem. From NFTs and collectibles to token launches and onchain commerce, Metaplex has enabled creation of over 923 million tokens and NFTs with more than $10 billion in total transaction value facilitated. The foundation maintains widely adopted standards including Token Metadata and mpl-core (next-generation NFT standard), and is expanding into agentic infrastructure with the Metaplex Agent Kit for building autonomous onchain agents.
