Memmo is a Stockholm-based marketplace for personalized video messages from celebrities, athletes, actors, musicians, comedians, and other public figures, founded in 2019 by Tobias Bengtsdahl and Gustav Lundberg Toresson. Operating as the largest personalized celebrity video platform outside the United States, Memmo enables fans to request custom video shoutouts, birthday messages, motivational clips, and other personalized content directly from thousands of talent. The platform operates across multiple markets including Sweden, the United Kingdom, the United States, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, France, Spain, Australia, and Canada, with localized experiences in each region. Since launch, Memmo scaled to a $100 million valuation within two years and raised a $10 million Series A round in February 2021. The company grew its team to over 150 people within 20 months of founding.
