MediSix Therapeutics is a Singapore-based early-stage cell therapy company developing proprietary CAR T-cell therapies to treat T-cell malignancies and autoimmune diseases. Founded in 2016 by Professor Dario Campana — creator of the first anti-CD19-41BB-CD3ζ CAR — MediSix's core innovation is its PEBL (Protein Expression BLocker) technology, which eliminates specific surface molecules from immune cells to overcome a fundamental challenge in targeting T-cell cancers with CAR-T therapy. The company has demonstrated clinical experience in Singapore in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) patients and is advancing toward Phase 1 trials.
