mediPhone is developed by Mediphone Inc. (メディフォン株式会社), a Tokyo-based company whose mission is to remove language barriers in healthcare. Its flagship mediPhone service provides 32-language, 365-day phone and video medical interpretation, on-site interpreter dispatch for treatments and checkups, and translation of medical documents such as diagnoses, consent forms, and hospital admission guides; the service has been adopted by roughly 88,000 healthcare facilities across Japan. The company also operates mediment, a cloud-based occupational health management SaaS for HR and safety teams.
