MBIO DIAGNOSTICS INC

MBio Diagnostics (now operating as LightDeck Diagnostics) developed the LightDeck platform, a point-of-care diagnostic testing system that combines an advanced laser waveguide with a lateral-flow-style cartridge to deliver a panel of lab-quality results in minutes from a single patient sample. Founded in Boulder, Colorado, the company focused on enabling fast, accurate, and low-cost diagnostics wherever and whenever needed — at the point of care in clinical, veterinary, and environmental testing settings. In July 2020, MBio Diagnostics merged with Brava Diagnostics to form LightDeck Diagnostics. The combined entity was subsequently acquired by Heska Corporation and then integrated into Antech Diagnostics. MBio Diagnostics received 9 SBIR/STTR awards from multiple federal agencies including the Department of Defense, Department of Agriculture, and NIH.
