MAGGIES PEARL LLC

Maggie's Pearl LLC is a patient-founded biotech company dedicated to developing treatments for PMM2-CDG (PMM2-Congenital Disorder of Glycosylation), an ultra-rare genetic disease affecting children. The company was inspired by Maggie Carmichael, a young girl from Sturgis, Michigan diagnosed with PMM2-CDG, and is conducting an FDA-approved Phase III randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial of epalrestat at the Mayo Clinic for children aged 2–17. Maggie's Pearl received an NIH SBIR Direct-to-Phase 2 award and collaborates with researchers, clinicians, and patient families to advance its therapeutic pipeline.
