Luxrobo

LUXROBO is a South Korean robotics education technology company founded in 2014 in Seoul, specializing in modular coding education kits and AI learning platforms. Its flagship product MODI is a hardware platform consisting of 21 interchangeable input, output, and setup modules paired with block coding and Python software tools, designed for learners of all ages from elementary school through high school and corporate settings. MODI modules are enclosed (no exposed circuit board) making them safe and suitable for children, and have won industry recognition including the Worlddidac Outstanding Award 2020. The company also offers AI coding training packages including 'hello AI' (entry-level, for grades 3–6) and 'Smart AI' (add-on for ages 11–18) developed in partnership with KAIST, Seoul National University of Education, and ATC. LUXROBO operates both online and offline coding education services across South Korea and targets international expansion. The company has attracted Series A and B investments from DS Asset, Hanwha, and Kakao Investments.
